Trumps Cabinet today officially announced that they are putting Pasdaran Sepah (army of Iran) in the official terrorism support. American have been consistently insisting that Sepah has been one of the long standing supporters of terrorism in Middle East. But no one has been bold enough and Perhaps stubborn enough to officially lIst Sepah as Terrorist group.
Iranian supreme leader, response has been that over the years Americans have demanded many things from Iran and finally they never did their own part. He examples how Iranian officials came to a solution with Obama government regarding nuclear and deal and finally another “american” person veto it and finally canceled it. It has become a token of truth to his words to let everyone know that Americans can’t be truly trusted. In the other hand, Pompeo persist that millions of dollar that had been previously freed from Banks for Iran, Hasn’t been used to improve people’s life in iran. Trump declined that he is here to fight Iran, however he stresses that whatever action his government is taking is to protect Iranian people and pressure the government to do the right thing. But here is the question! Do Americans really think Iranian authorities will change their attitudes toward how the country functions? The short answer is no. And do Iranian thinks Americans can be once more trusted? The short answer is no more. The small trust that was built during Obama presidency could have been strengthened over the time and today things could have been different if all those millions of dollar were used to boost the economy in Iran.
However it’s very evident, from the news or from observing that nothing has improved. So the interesting question is that where did all these money that was blocked for many years due to sanction gone? It is actually very clear! It all went to Sepah.
Sepah has been active in Iraq covering up as fighting against ISIS and assisting Iraq army. However this battle has personal religious roots that are basically the fight between Shia and Suni. They have spend a large sum of money supplying Iraq army with guns and war supplies. On top of that Iran has been supporting of government suppressing Arab spring in Middle East. They have spend god knows how much money just to support and encourage violence against poor and helpless people who are fighting for their true rights. They are literally criminal minds living in shadows and why are they doing this? Just to assure they have power in region, because they believe Americans are looking to take over Iran due to its advantages geographical location in the world. Perhaps they supporting all these nearby corrupted government so that if one day Iranian people come to streets to fight against them, they can have some support. Human rights in Iran means nothing, it’s a total joke – just a niceness night dress and underneath is all blood and scars. Sepah has been secretly active in the region over the past years but initially Israel and US were trying to find connections between Nuclear facilities and Sepah but we can see there isn’t any because they are not allowed nor I think they would take the risk. All they do is to use their war experience to aid other governments on how to win their civil battles strategically. So if this is not supporting terrorism then I do not know what is. Supporting governments who kill people freely is not funny! It’s indirectly supporting act of aggression against helpless people.
I don’t personally think it’s only Sepah, it’s the whole picture that is rotten and I hope other countries take this seriously. Unfortunately the issue is that it is very hard to cut Iran hands from the Middle East, there is so much hidden influences that could be hard to overcome. And I think in order to do that Europeans and Oceania must also realise the issue.
