Sudden resignation of Zarif rang bell of danger in Iran. Followed by new pictures of green movement leaders publishing in social media and other news coming from around. Is this the veridic that Iranian regime was expecting?
To me sometimes everything seems constructed, written on paper for them to play their roles in order to achieve their goals. Resignation of zarif tells us only one thing and that is, from within, the government is wearing out and weakening every single day. And yet all they looking for is the sustain their power as much as possible so they can survive. Zarif resignation also shows that he is not in favour of what top leaders are doing, he understands that his hands are closed and he is unable to do and say what he wants. But he plays his game very wise and carefully. He walk on the edge of sword and assures he will not drop but he will push people down if he wants to. Basically it sounds like a war within.
Sometime people in power also need to abuse the laws and their options in order to send a message to world. Although everyone reads it differently but he knows the people who must understand will do.
Trump noted it doesn’t make difference, he is the same as others in the government, he has hands in all the corruption. And as much as I disagree with the amount of disruption Trump and his people like to cause I must agree he may as well be playing the same role but with different Colors.
Partially he wants to sustain his power and also he wants to make sure people don’t turn their backs on him, because let’s be honest, regime is afraid their era is coming to an end and all they are trying to do is to extend their length of stay. So it is only natural to see some of the key people on regime want to change their sides or at least announce indirectly that they want to be with people. But the issue is how can one trust a government that has lied, punished, destroyed human rights and ruled over people with a dictatorship like government for the past 30 years. I do not personally trust anyone.
But I give him right to choose what he wants to do. Sometimes it’s not about why people break or abuse the law, it’s about the reason, they may have a reason and I want to hear his. But then again you never know of what he says is scripted or it’s the reality.
The problem with these sort of resignations is that each person tells a different story, you can’t tell wrong from right and vice versa. But one thing remains highlighted and it’s the fact that regime also feels like the time is coming. And there is no where to run. It’s just matter of changing sides and surviving the changes that are coming very soon. After all a hungry stomoch doesn’t know friend or for, they only want one thing, they only want to see the world burns with them. And I have no choice but to give them the right for this inhuman and cruel nature they are foreseeing.
Also I want to note that Zarif resigned to voice his concern but what difference did it actually make? Did he bring bread to people houses? How about labour who haven’t got payed for past couple of months? Doesn’t he thinks about these people or does he even understand what sort of difference his resignation would make. I personally think with or without him we are going down the drain every single freaking day. I hope he has more freedom to do what he wants to do. If he really wants to make change he needs to be honest and breach and upfront with people. As far as I have seen to this very day all he has done is defending the regime and trying to do something within the limitation that he has. Outside of these – I must agree. He is just another person who runs the government and in this show of bad and good cop.
