A Green that is Grey

When I arrived in Malaysia, Iran was crowded, in such ways that people were perusing their rights to win their lost votes back. Unhappy government, was doing anything in power to keep the damage in control and do not let people to go out of hand.  A primary task they did was to immediately detain those who publically encouraged Iranian citizens to come to streets and protest for their lost rights. Mousavi and Karoubi, and their respectives wives were arrested and taken to house arrest. everything was done as quick as possible because Authorities knew without leaderships they will be able to shut people down eventually.

I was never interested in Politics during the time but everyone was talking about it, it was like the hottest topic of back then, I had emails pouring into my Yahoo email regarding locations, letters and … all about the protest. Even Iran Students in Malaysia protested in Country. I was encouraged along with my friends to attend such places, so Did I. at one time even Malaysian Polices seemed to be getting aggressive, we received such comments as we might be facing Visa Cancellations or reported to our embassy. Essentially I heard other protesters were even confronted with tear gasses.

At Sunway University College me and my friend, A.R were appointed by our teachers to produce a movie that told the story of Green Movement. At the time we were excited to share our voice and concerns with people in Iran too, so we did produce a 10 minuet movie. No one thought this movie would come to be problematic at the time. We displayed our faces, voices on it, the movie was shown In Sunway University, Limkokwing. I also heard the movie was shared on social medias but I was never active on FaceBook that much.

IT was good fun, however also I had heard that universities with many iranins were monitored by government on a very low scale basis. I would not be surprise for such things as Iranian Security system is so complex and often called “powerful”.

Later on people who participated in our video claimed they were questioned relevant and irrelevant things upon return to Iran for Holidays, but obviously everything should have been under control due to recent incidents.

On 23 August 2008, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ounced that he “sees Ahmadinejad as president in the next five years,” a comment interpreted as indicating support for Ahmadinejad’s reelection. 39,165,191 ballots were cast in the election on 12 June 2009, Ahmadinejad won 24,527,516 votes, In second place, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, won 13,216,411 (33.75%) of the votes. The election drew unprecedented public interest in Iran. It seemed that Supere Leader indeed did enjoy the amount of unprecedented power he had gained through Ahmadinejad for being close to more extremest side of government.

But the real question remains to me, even if we assume Mousavi could have  win the election (which he likely did), where would he take Iran to next?

I would like to study on this, because once my grandpa told me, its all a play for amusement of Leader, country would go where he wants to take it, whether its Ahmadinejad or its Mousavi, it seems we are going to sink down the drain anyway. IT seemed that Mousavli was aggravated simply because the election did not go the way he wanted to ? is he selfish ? or he dream of freedom that essentially doesnt exist ? I was often confronted heavily by people when I shared my idea about it with his supporters, some extreme too, threatening me to fight.

I believe Iranian Regime is like a piece of white paper, you can not spot differences, you can not tell which is different, they may pose different shapes but their actions would be limited to what Islamic Revolutionary Rules are made out the country.

It makes you feel like sometimes I do not even know what am I, who am I?!
