A song For Our People

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”true” align=”left” margin_bottom=”0″ p_margin_bottom=”20″ width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

It was hell when we held hands

Walked through flames

Other side of wall Away from them

Hoping to find A light that will shade brightness on us

Those days are gone Such shame on us

Those days are gone We can’t recall when we were inside the walls

They all gone

Gates are open to our gods and demons

I can’t remember the scent of spring

I can’t remember the scent of of you

Since you gone I have gone blind

You took the courage and our hearts

Along with your death, It’s all gone

Now we stand, with nothingness

We only hope that you will pour power in our, Hearts ,

But all we know is that you will be never the same

Who do we scream to ?

Who do we seek ?

In your absence we stand still Brother in arms Form a wall Perhaps in this wall will be a paradise

I dedicate this poorly written song to all iranina woman in Enghelab Square who protested against Hijab Law and to all the people who have been coming to streets to protest against current socio and economic problems.

people should know that my voice is along with them.
